MARGA MELIÀ

(DIRECTOR, SCRIPTWRITER, EDITOR)

 

Marga was born Palma de Mallorca in 1982. She moved to Barcelona in 1999, where she graduated in Journalism and attended an International Master's Degree in

Scriptwriting (UAB).

 

After living for a while in Berlin and Bologna, she worked as a journalist in different media and she published a book: Soportando el paraíso (Lunwerg, 2011). Together with Xisco Martorell, she opened the production company Nuu Films

in 2012. She also works as a film editor.

 

She has written and directed the shortfilm

El síndrome del calcetín desparejado, the documentary film Un solitario baile con el miedo and several spots and music videos. Bittersweet Days is her first feature film. She was the President of the Balearic Islands Filmmakers' Association (ACIB) in 2015 and 2016.

 

 

XISCO MARTORELL

(DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY, CAMERA OPERATOR)

 

Xisco was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1981. After studying Audiovisual Directing in 2004, he graduated in Audiovisual Communication in 2007 at Vic University.

 

Since then, he has worked in various audiovisual productions as a cameraman and editor on documentaries, TV shows, music videos

and short films.

 

In 2012 he founded with Marga Melià the production company Nuu Films, where he has worked as director of photography on different advertising works, music videos, video-art pieces and shortfilms.

 

MARC MONTAÑÉS

(SOUND RECORDIST, CO-DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY)

 

Born in Barcelona in 1977, Marc studied Film -specialization in Sound- in ESCAC (Barcelona) and later on he attended the Master's Degree in Director's Assintant in ECAM (Madrid).

 

In his 15 years of experience working in the field of photography, drama, documentary and film

(in different tasks such as directing, camera, editing and sound), he has participated in

15 feature films and in over 150 productions.

 

ANA MENA

(PRODUCTION ASSISTANT)

 

Ana was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1984. She attended highschool in Ireland and then she graduated in Journalism at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.

 

She has worked in several production companies (Singular Audiovisual, La Fábrica de la Tele, Bonjour Produccions, Nuu Films) in the areas of production, writing and marketing. She has also worked as an editor for various magazines and as a community manager for companies

such as Subterfuge Records. 

 

She currently lives in Madrid, where she works as an editor for the company Internet República.

 

 

JAUME ALCINA

(COLORIST)

 

Jaume was born in Llucmajor (Mallorca) in 1980. He studied Audiovisual Direction in the

IES Juníper Serra (Palma).

 

Before working in the audiovisual field, he worked as a street sweeper, a construction worker and a almonds harvester. His life took a 180 degree turn when he decided to move to Madrid, where he worked as a graphic designer, editor and colorist at the company Uniprex TV (belonging to the Antena 3 Group). He has also worked as a cameraman and editor in the Singular Audiovisual production company (Mallorca).

 

He currently lives in Palma and works as a freelancer in numerous audiovisual projects.

RUBÉN PÉREZ

(SOUND MIXER AND ADR RECORDING)

 

Born in Barcelona in 1980, his family moved to Palma de Mallorca when he was a child. He studied Sound Design and then graduated in Audiovisual Communication.

 

With over 12 years of experience, he started working in Madrid in series like Aquí no hay quien viva. Then he moved back to Mallorca, where he participated in various audiovisual productions (television, fiction and advertising). He has been the technical manager of the sound post-production studios Grados Balear for seven years and he has been the head of sound department in several series and

television programs.

 

He has also been the head of sound department in award-winning projects like Ella and I am your father (both finalist for the Goya Awards in 2012 and 2015, respectively), 24 horas con Lucía or  Foley Artist, winning several awards

for best sound.

 

He recently participated as head of sound in the feature film Noctem and in the documentary film Després de la boira.

ISKRA KARADZHOVA TIRADO

(POSTER'S ILLUSTRATION AND DESIGN)

 

Born in Tutakran (Bulgaria) en 1980, Iskra is a true globetrotter.  After living in several european cities such as Varna, Sofia, Venice or Palma de Mallorca, she moved to Los Angeles

(California) in 2015.

 

She studied Fine Arts and in graduated in Pedagogy of Fine Arts (specializing in Graphic Arts). She has never stopped working since then.

  She made the illustrations for the children's book Magical journey and for Welcome Halloween's album cover, she made the special digital effects and motion animation for several audiovisual pieces and she made the graphic design of various LPs and of "Mosaic of change", a UNESCO's storytelling platform.

 

From 2007 to 2015 she was the co-owner of Cinètica Produccions, where she worked as a documentary maker, cinematographer,

motion digital animator, editor and

post-production designer.
